Oil Paintings

A selection of oil paintings on linen, canvas, and panel (2008-2016).

These oil paintings are recordings of my explorations of the history of the media and different techniques. They are also people, places, things and ideas that have impacted me along the journey and are therefore used as vehicles for ideas to distill what I can of the world around me. My subject matter has ranged wildly from portraiture, landscape, sex, violence, and vice – whatever it takes to pursue an idea and generate a meaningful image. I like images that have a bit of psychology to them.
